pfft. Got these ages ago.... :p Silver Surfer turns out to be rubbish!!

The 800 points is a ripoff, but I spent so many hours on this game that I would happily pay double that for the extras.

I miss Marval Ultimate Alliance on my 360 :(

I am assuming this extra content won't be available on *** PS3 version.

Might have to dust off my copy of this and get playing again. Haven't played it for over 2 months or so now.
 
Also have that save as I snagged it at the same time :p

It is far easier to beat Doom on your own as you really need to run around a fair bit and that's hard to do with others in the game :(

I'm taking it he's quite tough at hard level? I'm currently up to the point where I've just beaten Loki (on easy).

Pretty tough yeah, it just takes forever to kill him. Thinking about it I'm not sure if I ever did, I'll have to check my achievements.

Edit: Yeah I did do it, took me a couple of goes though if I remember correctly.

If you use Wolverine its easy enough, just takes a long time as the moves don't knock much health off.
 
Nah I wont be getting the extra content. After playing the game through twice I decided I couldnt be bothered to get the costumes and Silver surfer.

Fun game but I dont really see what the extra characters will give me apart from some costume achievements I wasnt bothered about anyway.

I have the PS3 version coming on rental :p

i hope that will satisfy me until the Spider-man 3 games comes out next month (I'm a sucka for super hero games!!).

Aye theres four red and blue spaces each side of the character select screen, if you click on them it takes you to a blank live menu. The trailer that was released last week said 10.4.07 :D
 
As you may have noticed still no new content!

Apparently there was a bug with the update that messed up peoples games. They have to sort that out before they can release the new characters.
 
Brought this game today on the PS3, what a load of rubbish :(

Going to trade it in for Virtua Fighter 5.

I really liked it on the 360. Not enough to buy extra characters. But it was a fun game none the less. Mindless hack and slash. Every now and then Its good for me :D

Really poor that the bonus content lay waste to so many peoples game saves on the console though. Poor play testing. I would avoid it now through priniciple
 
I think its like anything adapted from a license, if you have prior knowledge of the source material you can't help but get more enjoyment out of it than the average gamer.
