Anyone changed thier real name or thought about it?

I've thought about it especially since my name basically means the mass murder of rabbits :( (First name is warren) but its quite nice having an unsual name because everyone knows who I am.

Alternatively keep all the old stuff in your current name and just start calling yourself "Sharon".

This.
If you were changing surname then do it proper, as it's just a first name I'd just start calling yourself that and e asked to be called the new name.

If you think thats bad, my name is Sina.

Its a male iranian name, i remember starting highschool and they called our names out, girls line one side, guys otherside.

they put me in the girls :/

Then you have pronounciation problems.

part of me wants to change it for Job issues due to racism.

But then again why should i, its me and its my heritage.

Hold true to what you are.

For some reason I only have pronunciation issues with my names, slightly. Go on , have fun wondering what way to pronounce [taken out]. I'm not even sure anymore. Won't even bother with my second name. For obvious reasons.

Just realised my first name alone can find me on Google. Scratch that.

Best name story I've ever heard of (obv. other than BENJAMIN HERBLE) is Leon's. Guy wanting to buy a holiday known purely as Tank. No first/last name, just Tank.

Well remembered :D
We honestly thought it was a wind up, but no. Just "Tank".

Like MarcLister, I changed my surname by Statutory Declaration when I was 18 after my mother divorced and re-married. For my UCAS application everything had to match (passport/bank account/driving licence) and at the time they were all different.
It's just a typed statement saying that you renounce any previous names and take on the new one. I think it was free at the time (or certainly not very expensive) as I was in full time education. That's what I remember anyway.
I have the statement stapled to my original birth certificate.

lol, no but tbh I did suspect that a least a member or two may think that, but alas that is not the case, but it is a unisex name but typically a boys name rather than a girls.

My old friends used to call me Bobby :(

you want to change it to sally so your friends call you boobies.
go for it, its your name

had to go to a solicitor to ask them to write a statutory declaration for me to say that Mai Ling or Mai Linda Ling or Linda ling is the same person. I was unable to change my Birth certificate.

I'm unable to get the song 'My Ding-a-ling' outta my head for some reaason .... sorry :(;)

2 polish guys in my college class no one gets there names right I decided to call one george and the other bob everyone found it hilarious but now it has stuck and everyone just calls them those names haha :D

My brother inlaws girlfriend changed her surname and her childs to his. Ok that seems quite normal yet they are supposed to be getting married next year. So why would you change your name if its going to be done in a years time anyway?

Does anyone else think that is weird or am I the only one who thinks that she is a pycho?
