Anyone else find sigs really annoying?

The most annoying thing is when people 'sign off' every single post they make, so utterly pointless.

This has always infuriated me.

There was a poster called Mr PK who always used to sign his posts "PK!" which annoyed me because it was thoroughly idiotic.

Penski used to sign his posts with a "*n" which also irritated the hell out of me.

I've never understood the point of massive graphical sigs at the bottom of each post. I don't want to look at the same stupid picture 50 times in a row, wasting my browser space. In fact I block them from showing with adblock plus :D I also block avatars pictures.

Anyone else find them annoying?

Doesn't annoy me at all, some people actually have some nice signatures. Just turn them off in your settings.

I used to hate them small sleek ones with "iphone user" and "man U supporter" what total ****, you have to be a right **** to have one of them.

As regards to other forums which have no rules on sizes or content, they can be really annoying.

this forum has a pretty dull theme at the best of times and that doesnt mean its a bad thing, but without avatars and sigs its with be nigh-on suicide inducing.

I browse at more than 320x240 so i cant say the sigs bother me. This forum has a sensible limit on the size of sigs.

Sigs are sensible sizes on this forum so I have no problem with 'em. When most of the avatars are similar they're good to help identify people. Mine is boring and rubbish.

Most signatures in this forum are tastefully done and add personality to most threads, along with easy identification of a poster. Along with being small and under 20kb I can't see how you can have an issue, not compared to the gif fest's of most other forums!

Sigs on here are fine, other forums can be very annoying, but in general I think it adds a bit of personality and if you hang around in a particular forum you soon can tell whos who easily from there sigs. I use mine to keep track of my distributed computing stats as well.
