Anodizing would be pretty cool to try but I prefer fiddling with electronic things myself as opposed to chemicals.

I know it's easy to create really nasty stuff from readily available goods. We all know that - and if we were so inclined we could just look it up on the almighty internet and make a simple shopping list.
