Im really happy with demos at the moment because thats how long im intrested in most games. I downloaded the ninja gaiden demo for ps3 last night and I spent 2mins on it before I was bored and knew what the game was all about.

Virtua Tennis 3 I could see playing a fair bit with other players but single player would just bore me. The only game that keeps me intrested in progressing through is Grand Theft Auto and possibly MGS, so thats a half year wait.

I just don't find 99% of games fun anymore. I used to love games like r-type but these are a rare find nowadays. Remember when racing games used to be fun like Porsche Challenge and wipeout? now its all about the simulators :(

Yep arcrade seems to have dissapeared in favour of more indepth gameplay. Which is fine if you have hours to tweak stuff. When all I want is outrun and chase HQ ;) it doesnt really interest me.

I actually wouldnt mind some decent 2d platformers too along the lines of Pitfall and earthworm jim. I dont care how fancy the GFX I always preferred 2d platformers over 3d.

Get yourself a PS2 some awesome games still being released on it, I've got XB360/PS3 but to be honest it's still early days for both games catalogue wise, I either play PC or PS2.

The much maligned Ridge Racer games ( 6 & 7 ) to me, are just plain fun. Sure, nearly everyone hates them but I don't care. You just drive like a loony on them and skid round corners. Totally unrealistic but great old-style arcade fun.

Things like PGR and Gran Turismo bore me senseless. It's like being on a driving test trying to complete some of the levels. Forza 2 will be the same no doubt, yet practically everyone will love it.

Yeah my gaming habits have gone slowly hence why i got rid of my 8800gtx i had hardly used it, picked up a bargain 360 of a m8 as no upgrading required in say 7-8 months like pc, i do like gears of war, lost planet, tdu,cod3 but i don't sit on them for hours i soon lose interest.

PGR3 is an arcade racer have you tried that?

It even has things like cone challenges and skid challenges which encourages you to drive silly.

i haven't lost interest in gaming, but my attention span seems to have dropped somewhat. a couple of hours gaming a night is now enough for me and i'll probably load up 3 or 4 games in that time.

I really have trouble finding a game that grabs my whole attention and makes me feel like I need to complete it... Havent found a game like that for a good while. The last one I had was viva pinata, sounds a bit nancy I know but it was something new and inventive. Unlike most games now which are a series and even though they mainly get better everytime, theres always a feel of been there done that. Used to love point and click games like discworld and broken sword when they were on PS1, but again the genre grew stale with repeateded series rather than whole new games... unfortunatly most which I do play now I only played for achievments.

Yeap, my gaming habits have died down a bit, there just isn't any modern games that appeal to me. I find them too boring, too linear, no gameplay. Sorry games companies - you may have the best graphics in the world but your games are usually **** (self-censored there!) with zero playability!

Only real hits for me in the last year or so has been GRAW and GRAW2 on the 360, and even then it's more the social aspect of having a bit of a laugh with people I've got to know from ocuk when on live.

A game really has to have a lot of originallity for it to appeal to me, some old classics have included Super Mario Sunshine, Jet Set Radio Future. Two games, often overlooked, but oozing playability and a big spark of originality.

I'm really stuck in the past with gaming, when graphics didn't matter but gameplay was of the highest order that's why I'm still an 'old school' developer writing stuff for an old 8 bit machine as a hobby!

I have to agree, in the olden days I would play on SWOS, UFO, CIV2, Streetfighter 2, Mario 1,3 & World/Kart, LTP for hours on end enjoying every second. Now I struggle to find the motivation to even load something up for more than an hour. The only thing that I keep going back to is Wii Sports as I can pick up and play for 15 minutes and have a laugh put it down and repeat later as I don't feel like I have to spend ages trying to master something or hit a checkpoint because if I don't I've then wasted an hour of my life.

The Sam Coupé, it's a british 8-bit from 1989-1999 that used a 6MHz Z80 CPU. I'm also a hardware guru for it too, designing new interfaces and such like to plug into it - such as recently a 20MHz accelerator! My hobby tinkerings are over at my site here. (Hope it's alright to put the link here!)

I think the Nintendo DS may re-ignite your gaming then. It's a pick-up-and-play device which is perfect really for the 10 minutes here, 10 minutes there type of thing.`

I'm really bored of the games that are out at the moment and there isn't any that interests me coming out any time soon :( i've found myself looking threw ebay for some old ps1/ps2 games to play on my ps3. so far i've bought mgs1 & 2, Resident evil 2,3 & code veronica :( I'm trying to get resident evil directors cut but they want over £10 for it on there
