Anyone ever done sapphire RMA?, Asking because I was wonderig how long they might take, they recieved my X1900XTX on the 7th after being charged the RMA fee (scum bags when you pay £355 you should not have to pay a fee for warranty to be honoured). Was just wondering what their track record is like for sorting things out once they get your item.

I did one through another shop that only took a few days. I would advise you to do this if the shop is still responsible for the warranty. I also received a brand new x1950xtx, as they were no longer making x1900xts.

Sapphire told me the shop should honour the warranty but the shop knocked me back saying the card had only a 12 month warranty with them, this was even after I had sent them a copy of the email from sapphire saying the shop could easily return the product to their supplier for a replacement as the warranty was 2 years. Apparantly the rma direct to sapphire is supposed to be a backup in case shops get all pretentious and will not take an rma so I suppose there is one thing it might take a while and cost a few quid but at least it might get sorted in the end.

My Sapphire X1950Pro is broken, how do i go about getting it replaced? (I got it from overclockers in december last year)

Sapphire are having you on there mate. I've been told by the Moderators on the Sapphire forum its a year with the shop, then a year with sapphire. Thats your 2 year warranty.

You should be able to RMA it with Overclockers as it within the 1st year. I think so anyway.

Out of intrest for future purchase of cards which firms have the best RMA's system, "quick+reliable+free maybe" after the shop warranty has run out?

Read some place on here that 1900xtx's are better than the 1950's anyone know if thats true as I don't want an inferior card, not being picky but just one of those things, ok im being picky but what the hell :D
