Anyone ever returned a Nintendo DS lite?

My daughter DS lite has failed refusing to power on.

Logged an RMA on nintendos website and they have sent me a freepost label to return to unit to repairtech in southam.

Anyone else had to do this and know the turnaround time?

silly question does it power on when plugged into the charger? the turn around time im guessing (from a friends repair) is about 7-12 days.

No its dead as a dodo. I thought it may have been the battery so i tried a spare one and its still the same.

Its sent off now so hopefully it shouldnt take too long.

Had the cracked hinge problem a while ago and the turn around was about 2 week

I totally mullered mine trying a repair, sent it back and got a refurbed one back for £30 inc postage in around 7 days total.

Great service, have no worries.
