Anyone feeling 'bad' recently for no apparent reason?

^^^Clever joke^^^

I've been feeling sick a lot. But that could just be all the christmas chocolate ive been throwing down my mouth.

Aside from actual illness, it could just be the 'January Blues'...

- Much fun and festivities over Xmas and New Year and then it's all over and done with people then don't usually have anything to look forward to, especially when Xmas is such a big event.

- It's getting on for Midwinter and there is barely many hours of light and even less sun... which has been shown to effect mood.

- Starting back to work for another year.

- Bills to pay after Xmas.

- VAT raised to 20% with likely more cuts and rises to come through the year.

- Guilt from over indulgence over Xmas, many people worried about weight, which is why this is always the biggest time for new gym memberships.

There is never much to get excited about in January really.

Feeling very off. woke up xmas day with Flu. I don't do the ill thing like most people seem to so it's bothered me having to lie around in bed eting naff all.

Now I can't be bothered to do anything after work. Not even play games. I cycle 5 miles to work, get through the day, cycle the 5 miles home and get myself sorted. By about 6-6.30 I have plenty of free time but I just can't be bothered.

This time last year I was at home with my ex thinking life was OK. I've been back living with my parents since April and 2010 has been the worst year of my life so far without a doubt. I'll be debt free by pay day which is something to look forward to, but I ca't even bring myself to spend money on the things I want that I couldn't do when I was living with my ex due to mortgage etc. It's crazy, I'm broken!

You need a holiday - not just for the sunshine, but a break from the toxic cocktail that an urban lifestyle exposes you to, and the resultant lack of energy / immune supression that goes hand in hand with it.
