Also don't forget to bring done kind of evidence with you for what it is, such as a letter from the doctor or maybe a prescription. Just phone then and find out what they will accept.

Both is best. Having 'I'm a insulin using diabetic' in the local language is helpful too. Got me waved threw in Ibiza after they stopped to search my bag because of the insulin having it in Spanish. To be fair they normally know what it is just by looking at it, they see insulin all the time (and many other meds likely) I think it was the gel in the cooling bag that looked interesting on the xray (or whatever they use) I now always take it out of my bag and place it beside it so they can get a good look at it.

Yeah it is small mate. probably the size of half a load of bread lol. But its wont fit in the little 10kg cases we are taking (too boxy).

Will have to speak to them direct tomorrow morning.
10kg cases are huge my son takes half his toys on the plane and it still weighs less than 7 KG

can i suggest she gets some sort of specialised container for this.

look up iprestige

Also you don't really need to keep it refrigerated.

I have checked this before, most insulin has an outside the fridge shelf life of about 2-3 months. As long as you're not constantly in 40 degree heat you should be fine.

I never leave the vial I'm currently using in the fridge. I've never had any problems in the sub tropics or Spain.
