40D and a 5D MkI
I stopped using the 40D and used the 5D.
Annoyed me so much carrying around 2 cameras, purely from the additional weight.
I can totally see the benefits of using 2. But in reality, I'll only use one.
I have my ShootSac, so changing lenses quickly isn't an issue, if I didn't have that, I'd probably push for carrying 2 cameras more.
If your shooting on your own I think it's prudent to carry a spare with you rather than keeping it in the car, or at least I like to know that a spare is within arms reach should my camera die during the ceremony. So if I'm carrying two camera's anyway, I might as well stick a lens on it and take advantage of having two camera's with me.
I do agree with you though, I'd rather not have to deal with the weight and hassle of two camera's swinging from your shoulder, hence why I'm going to try a dual camera strap to minimise this issue.
When I use one camera and my think tank belt, lens changes only take around 4 seconds or less if I'm in a rush, but it's still a PITA...
