Good weather down here in the South East so took the opportunity to brave the sodden trails.

Came back caked in mud but what a great time I had!

Beats sitting staring at a TFT all day that's for sure. ;)

(I'm not a pro photographer by the way as you can see but still) ;)

I managed to get my bike out from under the stairs today!! Pumped the tyres up ready to go out but started watching TV and put the bike back again :o

had to work :( been a nice day too , was thinking about a ride tomora but its raining at the moment :( hopefully itl clear up otherwise itl be the skatepark on ye old bmx to injure myself :/

I need to get round to replacing the bearings on my rear wheel... my bike has been sat looking a sorry state for itself for months.

Used to love going for a good ride down country tracks... try to get as muddy as I possibly could... was so much fun

Surely a mudguard prevents you from being a proper off roader ;)
It's gripped.

Yeah, I know in some circles having 'guards is a bit of a fashion no no.

However I had to have a smug laugh to myself as I followed a bloke along the track I was riding.

His arse had a wet/ muddy streak all the way up it. I remember riding like that "in my youth" and its bleedin' uncomfortable! :)

I'd sooner be dry arsed these days even if I look unfashionable. ;)

I don't think mud streaks on the arse are the height of fashion either to be honest! LOL :D

Nice! Where exactly do you ride? is that lot on the eastern side of the north downs? Used to live in Tunbridge Wells, and without a car, there wasn't much close by that was any good. Never made it to the downs :(

In the city at the moment, and it's freezing. Boooo :(

Medway is to the Eastern side of the North Downs yes.

No massive mountains here but still some amazing trails and scenery to be had.

I rode around Cobham Woods a lot in the past but now tend to ride on the southern side of the Medway. Mainly because it it closer really.

Next year I want to ride the complete South Downs Way, will be a dream come true. Many can do it in a day! I plan to take a one man tent and make an expedition of it!

Hazy days and rolling chalky slopes, Mint Sauce territory for sure.

Carries you through the greyness of winter doesn't it? :)

Maybe they weren't mud streaks

I think the picture would look a lot better without that bike in it, cant you move it and take them again? It obscures a lot of light, thanks.
