Anyone going to FOCUS ON IMAGING 2012 NEC BIRMINGHAM??

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone is going or has gone to a previous show in another year?.

Is It good- being honest how many days do you need to take it all in?, and wheres good to stay near the NEC? as I'm from cornwall and don't leave it very often Cornwall that is hee.

I'm going as the GF that wants to go, I dont really know much about photography but sounds an interesting day out.

I've never been before however she has.

I ordered the tickets a few weeks back but havent arrived yet, have yours?

My tickets arrived about 4 weeks ago. I'll be going on the sunday morning.

To be honest a day is more than enough, its not particularly great and definitely not worth buying anything from there as you can always find it the same price or cheaper on the internet.

Not always. Last year Jacobs were there selling the 7D for £999, which was significantly less than any online store and is still cheaper than than most places now.

You'll get "show prices", I'd say make a list of what you want and note the online prices then haggle for a good price.

Although I've not been there for a last day myself I hear you can pick up some bargains on last day, especially if you're after some lighting as it tends to be sold off at the end of the show.

I take it back. There are deals to be had. Just picked up a 5d mk ii for 1299 from Jacobs. Refurbed but I'm beyond happy. Get 12 months warranty still

They've got the 600d with 18-135 IS for 689.
