Anyone got NEC-2510A DVDRW and Vista?

Building my new system, it appears Vista doesn't like the NEC 2510A drive - It says it cant find the drivers when it starts up.

Luckily I had another drive which I've borrowed to get it running, and its installing now. However its not my drive so I've got to take it back....

Just wondered if anyone had this combo and managed to get it working...

sure it wasn't a dodgy connection or something? windows uses the same generic driver for all optical drives.

I have that drive and I had no problems installing vista with it when I tried it out several months ago.
