Anyone had any experiance preordering a game for release day from Smyths?

They are offering God of war for 40.99 if you pre-order for deliver or collection. Just concerned as it says expected in stock on the 20th which is the actual release day.

Anyone used them before?

Used them once and it arrived the day after release. Could have been a 1 off though. Im sure you can preordepr for store collection on the day if you have 1 near you.

I've used them a few times for delivery and collection. All have been on release day.

Nice I don't really have one local so delivery is my only option. I assume the free delivery should be sufficient?

Yep, had to pay for quicker delivery as its always been per-orders weeks before release.

I've used them, but there is one 5 minutes from where I live so I just collect.
