You know the kind, they are on ebay for £50 or so, they play dvds, cds, mp3s etc etc.

I know they aren't going to be as good as a pioneer - but im selling the prelude soon and taking my kenwood mp3 cd hu out of it and want to leave something cheap but functional behind.

Thing is, have they come on now? I like the idea of having a DVD full of mp3s and something cheap so if it gets nicked im in no great loss.

I'm not an audiophile, infact im half deaf - so sound quality isn't tooooo important.

Or shall i just take my kenwood into the new car?

You're asking for a cheapy headunit for yourself? Just put your current one in the new car and buy a crappy one for the old car :/

I bought one from a well known high street electrical component retailer to shove in my 2nd car.

Complete and utter rubbish.

1st one worked for a week, then refused to switch on.

2nd one I got as a replacement played the radio, but not discs.

Decided to try third time lucky. It played discs alright........with a lovely skipping motion every 20 seconds.

I wouldn't bother to be honest m8. Maybe I was just unlucky ( understatement!!! ). :p

okay, im on the lookout for a basic cd player for no more than 25 quid :p (second hand, of course)
