Anyone having parcel delays (Royal Mail)

sent a parcel recorded 1st class on saturday. still not arrived at the destination 5 days later. rather annoying as the buying is sending me an email everyday being sarcy about it not arriving.

anyone else having problems?

I ordered something yesterday and it arrived at ten to eight this morning, first class recorded.

was it something small. wondering if its to do with size. had something delivered this morning posted yesterday but it was letter size. the parcel i sent was a 20x20x20cm box.

A Blu-Ray I ordered was despatched from the store on Tuesday, RM 1st Class, and it hasn't arrived yet!

Yes mate i sent a CPU off on the 18th of Sept and it only arrived with the buyer on Tuesday the 29th :mad:

Yes.

Ordered something on Saturday, dispatched on Monday... no sign yet.

Mazuma sent a cheque in the same way at 5pm on Monday and it arrived the next day.

Go figure...

yup... ordered some break pads for my bike 5 days after dispatch not received.. nice one royal fail.. :/

i've got 2 packages on the way, sent on wednesday, and still no sign of it, even tho we're getting normal post. these were both 1st class recorded btw

It seems to be random for me, I ordered some tshirts and they took about a week to arrive (came yesterday) but other things I've ordered at 3pm have arrived the next day.

i wonder if there's a correlation between the places packages are coming from and them being delayed?

mine are coming from manchester and licoln if that helps :/

Funnily enough I had exactly the same, ordered blu-ray fast and furious box set, took 6 working days to arrive after it was dispatched, the week before I ordered something big and heavy from poland on a friday, dispatched same day, arrived monday monring.

Quicker to order things from halfway around the planet than it is your own country.

Had a couple of DVD boxsets shipped from a vendor in Kent to Nottingham late Tuesday afternoon. Came on Thursday morning and that was normal first class post ... seemed pretty normal to me.

Bought a game from the members market on here, it arrived a day after expected. Nothing to worry about but there's a few delays going on I'd imagine.
