Hi guys,

Basically, all I remember is the guy digging up his backyard once (film set in America). He now and again could see something just before it happened. If I remember he dreams he wakes up, sees a shoe or something similar under the sofa get's up and sees some kid shoot himself in the house down the road. Then actually wakes up and does everything and kid shoots himself.

It was a few years ago but it's annoying me, big time.
 
Cheers for the suggestions guys. Not DD nor is it the dead zone. It must have bee made in the early 2000s. I can't really recally any further info really but it's a film I want to watch again.

I can't recall why he was digging the entire garden up, I can see it in my mind but cannot put a name to the film or the actor.

Sadly not. In this film the guy is in his 30s and is married. I recall him getting very angry with her when she asks him why he has dug the entire garden up.
