I have never heard of Ancel. Carsoft is quite popular, has pretty good coverage too by the looks of things. The most important thing generally is ongoing coverage/support so probably Carsoft out of the two, even if the Ancel has more features - unless Ancel are a brand named subsidiary of a bigger company that I'm unaware of?

I had a disappointing experience with a Honda-specific iCarsoft scanner I bought for my Civic primarily to erase a power steering fault code. It pretended to erase it, but didn't actually do anything.

If I were buying something in this price range I'd be looking at something made by Launch.
