Hi,
I got a letter today from RBS
"I have pleasure in advising you of the interest paid on your DIRECT SAVER ACCOUNT during the tax year ended 5 April 2006
Gross interest of £0.00"
I'm really annoyed because i opened the account at the beginning of November 05 and put £7000 in there so i was expecting a bit of interest at least, but £0.00
. What I'm thinking is that the money might have to be in there for the whole tax year but if thats so what is the point in calculating the interest daily if you cant add more money?. Any one got the same account and can shed light on why Ive earned no interest?.
Cheers
Mark
