Anyone identify this fly?

Nice one for clearing that up. I've never seen one of these before. Are they quite a rare sighting?

Depending where you read, they are spread throughout the UK, I get them round my way quite a lot. I got some good photos of one when it was trapped inside before releasing it, absolutely amazing to look at.

They are also called Cookoo wasps as they lay their eggs in other bee/wasp nests and the larvae eats the Bee/Wasp larvae....damn nature, you scary.

There...see..it was interesting!
I hadnt seen one before!

Absolutely! :D

I fail to see how that has anything to do with me wondering why anyone would care about a dead wasp?

Maybe you need to do some growing up yourself.

OK then, let me explain. If you grow up a bit you'll realise that someone can post a simple genuine question on a forum with out someone (you) telling them to sort there life out for no reason. If you don't get laid for a bit, you can get a wee bit ratty and you'll feel a lot better after you get a bit, so maybe your posts won't come across like someone who could lose a bit of frustration. (see your first post for an example.) Only trying to help fella, you can thank me later.

Just to derail the thread a bit (though the OPs question has been answered so I don't suppose it matters...

I'm sure that the vbulletin rules you have to agree to when you sign up are that you are aged 13+? (could be wrong...)

If so then how come T345 hasn't been banned?
