Anyone in Leeds want to start a band?

Right, after finishing Uni I have finally realised that I really should be in a band. I've been playing drums for seven years and I'm really into music, mostly rock. Played in a band with mates before Uni but nothing serious, just gigs at mate's houses etc. so I'm some hardcore gigging veteran or anything.

So basically are there any other similarly orphaned musicians who want to sling some music together? I'm talking something along the lines of Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, Reuben, Billy Talent, Biffy Clyro, kinda alternative stuff with a bit of feeling behind it. But I'm open to a bit of experimentation as I listen to loads of stuff.

Any takers?

I would so do this as i live just down the road in hyde park, but i'm in my final year and the workload is intense :/ gah!
