I live in Newcastle but I would rather chuck poo at myself than go to this rally. I'm not a racist (I hate everyone equally), but I do hate how the westend makes little to no effort to fit in with our society. Half of the women don't even speak english and their husbands only speak broken english at their place of work. This is what I don't like about immigration, not the fact the are brown, puple or blue.

You honestly don't think I was being serious? I pretty much have the same views as you, it obviously isn't just the West End that have the issue of people not making an effort to fit in to society. Working in a call centre I speak to people from all over the country, and 9/10 people I speak to who are immigrants (trying not to sound like a **** here :o) can barely speak a word of English. Generally after about 20 minutes of me trying to talk to them, they put their Son/Daughter on and they can speak perfect English. It grinds my gears.

most thr racist exmaples they give are a joke though

they seem to think having someone who was on a hunger strike in a immigration detention centre is a positive thing like hes some kind of hero..

may be we should just have open borders let anyone come and go as they please ....

Ugh, this country has bent over backwards to make life easier for those who came over on the boat. Now that all the rights are equal and awareness is at an all time high, don't you think it's time people just quit it? Seriously I'm tired of all the PC crap.

There are the most stupid laws in place at the moment, for example in my college I'm doing a BTEC Diploma and the teachers have to send off an assignment from each ethnic background in the classroom, it's PC gone mad.

Those who want to be racist will unfortunately be racist, nothing more needs to be changed, you can't change everyone's opinion.

I've even been branded a racist before for saying stuff like "if you can't speak the language, don't work and offer nothing to society you should be shipped back to where you came from".

The most infuriating thing ever (which, granted doesn't happen much) is when a foreign person gets angry at you because you can't understand them...seriously.

Righto, rant off, need a shower. :p
 
Pro immigration nonsense, we do not need more bleeding people in this country.

I've noticed a common theme with Superewza, he wonders into threads and starts spouting how everyone in them are immature and/or morons yet he fails to ever address the reasons why he is right. Fair enough, judge people but at least tell us why you are doing so and present your arguments properly.
 
Marches like this are utterly self indulgent, your heart might be in the right place but this kind of action is just self gratification.

Marching outside of a council office or workplace in defiance of a policy is something totally different from this kind of day out.

Which is precisely why the march was organised - to raise awareness that it is still a problem. Maybe not so much in the form that you're used to, but it's definitely still there.
