Anyone know about Corsa or Leaks?

Just googled the whole air con leaking thing, seems loads of cars do it. But how come my coolent lvl hasnt dropped even though theres a massive patch?

The air con isn't leaking (if it is, you wouldn't notice 'cos it's full of gas). It's water that's collected on the outside of the a/c rad due to the temperature difference.

Its the same if you fill a glass full of ice cold water. Within a few minutes the outside of the glass will be wet.

So what should I do?

I also couldnt find anything 100% on google about air con and leaking (besides air con in american homes :/)

If it is from using the a/c, then do nothing. Its just a side effect from using it.

In my opinion, as long as it isn't overheating, plumes of white smoke from the exhaust and using a litre of water every week, then theirs nothing to worry about.

I took it for a drive today, 45mins each way. No loss of water, no overheating, ran quite nicely actually. Parked it up and about an hour later, small drips started coming, so now theres a small patch (no where near as big as the picture) appeared on the floor. Defo looks like the edge of the rad, wish I could jack the car up :(

well had my car looked at, seems to be where they serviced the car and flushed the coolent, its disturbed the rad plug somehow which is causing the leak. The white stuff around that area is coolent thats leaked and turned into crystal. So if they cant get a new plug it means a new rad :(

Been quoted around £45 though, is that good?

Ha, Im having pretty much same issue.

Leaked like crazy monday, Radiator needed replacing. Got it replaced, now there is a small leak coming from where the a pipe joins radiator at the bottom (leaking passengers side)

Thought it could just be because it's not tightened enough or splits in pipe, turns out its not either of them, but still drips from that connection after the car has been running for a bit. So once the pressure has built up.

Baffled

Nah sorry I meant to say its a peugeot 207.

Think Ive been rinsed, I don't know much about car mechanics, had a mate look at it tonight who is also a bit baffled.

Paid £150 to get the new rad and get it installed.

Going back tomorrow to basically say I've got the same problem, but not as drastic as the leak was before the radiator got replaced.

It seems to be definitely coming from the radiator hose connection at the bottom, but no obvious cracks and not sure how much tighter you can get it.
