Anyone know what type of spider?

Found this spider out side while cleaning up.

Anyone know what species? It was quite a fat spud.

It looks like a false black widow but i dont think we have them in Ireland.

Ha ha yeah thats when i chucked it out of the jar. I was cleaning up old pots and put my finger into one and the cob webs were extremely strong.

Once i had a peek that spider was under the web. Its seems lethargic like i just woke it up.

Can't quite tell in the photo but did it have any kind of marking on its back? Also was the web very randomly constructed?

No it looked all one colour, that dark brown not chevrons, spots etc

Deffo not a false widow as it has distinctive markings on its arse. Lynx+lighter it tbfh.

See a lot of them here, It could be a pregnant female garden spider. It won't hurt anyone, Unless exposed to a nuclear leak of some kind and turned into a creature from 8 legged freaks!
