Anyone know when Intel's SSDs are appearing?

just out of curiosity, why such a huge price difference between the samsung 64GB and the OCZ 64GB? i am seriously considering a 32GB drive just for the heck of it or maybe two in raid 0.

The samsung doesn't state it's SATAII perhaps.

One limitation of the initial generation is that it's a PATA-SATA I bridged so the transfer rates suffered and they were beaten by normal HDDs. The SATA II have shown better transfer rates and return better rates compared to notebook drives although drives such as the F1 seem still to sustain a very good transfer rate.
