Is it fizzy from all of your taps? It's often faulty plumbing, if it's from all taps however it's possible that it's coming into the house like that.

If in doubt, ring your water company and they'll send out a quality inspector and test your water. I'd be most concerned about the discolouration, but as said previously, it could be a burst/fixed pipe disturbing the deposits inside the pipe.

Our water smells and tastes of chemicals - have to run two bowls of water every morning to get drinkable water - Also had to buy water purifier. Them jug things with a filter in.
Once you have run enough it's ok for rest of day. The sink tap is right above stop tap under the sink unit so not a lot of pipe.
