Anyone own Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising? Is it one-shot one-kill in retail?

I recently downloaded the demo of this game and noticed that it's not entirely realistic in that it takes 3, 4 or maybe 5 shots to kill an enemy. I OF's game play a lot easier to get used to than ArmA 2, but it lacks the one-shot, one-kill realism that ArmA 2 seems to get spot on.

Can anyone tell me if the full retail version of OFDR has the one-shot one-kill feature available?

Thanks

I don't think it has to be honest. I only played the game for an hour or so though as it was an absolute joke.

my advice is to spend more time to get into arma 2, make sure you have the latest patches, some essential mods like ACE2, Zeus AI and Hi-Fi weapon sounds.

I hate to enforce my opinion on someone but OPF2 is a disaster and Arma 2 is the best game of last year in my opinion by a long way, and its only getting better.

I have got it, I thought it had some sort of hardcore mode? To be honest I never played it after the first week - waste of £25 quid. :(

Get Arma 2, don't look back. :D

I promise you it often takes much more than one shot to kill something in real life. I know what you mean though. Would be good to see more games that simulated injuries properly instead of an enemy just bending over after being hit and then apparently being fully healthy again two seconds later.

Well yeah, unless you shoot them in the head (or perhaps the heart also) then they wouldn't die instantly.
