Moving house soon, to a 1bed flat in south london.
Its quite good 'cause its a top floor flat and has sole access to the loft/attic. I'm mulling over doing it up to be a pc room/office. The current occupants only use it for storage.
The stuff I'm looking to get done:
Currently has a retractable steel ladder up to the loft - I'd like to get some form of mini spiral staircase that could go up for more sturdy/permanent access.
Enlarge the hole in the loft to make it more accessible.
Build a desk to fit the dimensions of the space up in the loft.
Power extensions to the loft.
Paint, carpet/floorboards etc.
Possibly a skylight.
Anyone know/recommend any trustworthy and reliable builders that are around (or can get to) south london? Would one company be able to do all the things I'm looking to get done? Or will I need to get different people to do different jobs?
