Anyone replaced fan on Tuniq - results?

Has anyone replaced the fan on their Tuniq? What kind of results did this bring? Cooler temps? Much quieter? Was looking at adding a Scythe S-Flex 1200 on to mine, but not sure if that will be powerful enough? It's speed is 1200rpm, but although the Tuniq fan is up to 2000rpm I never run it that fast (WAY too noisy). Probably only one way to find out if this is worth doing, but wondered if anyone has done it before I start tinkering...?

I was thinking something similar, I plan to get a tuniq soon, and was considering getting two 120mm fans doing a similar thing to the Amanda - one sucking air out of the heatsink and another blowing air in. Surely that'd work pretty well...

It's certainly an idea worth considering. I've just recieved mine now so I'll be seeing what kind of temps and noise levels I get from it this weekend :)

i have problems with my tuniq tower fan
on my thermaltake fan controller, if i set it to low, the fan just drops
to zero no other fan does that so i will definitely replacing with a quality
fan.

Is that the S12 Noctua? Should definitely be quieter as those are mighty quiet fans, as are the Scythes. No doubt in my mind noise will drop, performance is the issue, so interesting that you say this has improved.

I have a Noctua 1200 and a Scythe 1200. I'm thinking I will try swapping out the Tuniq fan, but I don't know which one to use. Decisions, decisions... I did read somewhere on these forums though that the Noctua's weren't so great for heatsink cooling, not sure why though...

Yup - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-001-NC

Well - I know that the noctua performs better than the stock fan

Exactly...I will have my new build on 24/7, so it does need to be reasonably quiet. I'm going to put it all together and then see what kind of stable, safe overclocks I can get with my set up...
