Anyone sorted of WMC?

Hi all
I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate and trying to use Media Center. When playing videos the video 'jumps' every few seconds, yet in WMP it plays just fine.

Any ideas, guys?

Which videos? What kind? Codec? Downloaded from? DRM?

You are not alone! This problem was introduced by Nvidia drivers after 163.75. If you go back to those it works fine. It is not codec or file related. It happens with AVI's. I have x64 so I am uncertain if this affects 32 bit or not. The Mediacentre in x64 uses a 64 bit player, this may be related in some way. I do find AVI's play fine in 64 bit media player though.

Where can I download the 163.75's?

I'm running 32Bit Ultimate. And a nvidia 8800GTS. Not 100% sure what driver version though...

Using Fdshow codces and trying to play AVi files.

i get the same, 163.75 is fine.

Also omega drivers work well
