Anyone still after a Playstation 3?

That particular model hadn't changed at all and neither had the range. The V2500 was completely new and the V2000 had stayed over a thousand for just about its whole life.

I dont see why your so up in arms about people waiting for a price cut to buy. Is it because you feel them as though you have paid too much and are a little bitter at people wanting to pay a cheaper price?

Are people that have waited til now to buy a 360 wanting something for nothing?

Does it make me a bad person that I wait til after easter to buy my easter eggs cheaper?

Everyone waits til something is at the right price for them to buy something, depending on how they are going to use it and how much use they think they will get out of it.

It's no different at all actually. It's called Price Skimming and has been employed by pretty much every console manufacturer in recent years; Nintendo with the Wii being the only possible exception that I can think of.

Essentially, what happens is that upon launch, the company sets the product at an artificially high price. Their marketing has told them that x number of people are likely to be willing to pay over the odds to get the latest technology and they capitalise on this by charging over the odds. After the inital high demand tails off, the company lowers the price to more realistic levels to keep demand for the product high. This will be repeated over the product's life cycle and subsequently the price will keep dropping over time. How quickly the price does drop, and by how much, is determined by how well the product is selling, and by how quickly demand for the product is falling.

With the PS3, Sony have decided that they can get away with charging over £450 initially. Unless demand is significantly and continuously high, you can expect the first price drop to occur in a matter of months.

How would you send your wife? in a big box via royal mail? Can I see a pic before I make a decision? Is she a good housewife or is she one of those womens rights lot?

Aww man I was hoping for a second wife

alleviate the workload for miss K so she could focus on Master K and computer games.

You cant just accept the fact that he thinks the PS3 is a waste of money? As a games console its really lacking right now with hardly any must have games.

I agree with you, I found nothing offensive in any of your posts, and you have gotten attacked left right and centre, quite shocking really, not that I agree with you on your opinion either but the way some have acted is a disgrace IMO.
