Ocupation: Graphics designer
Old system: 2006 Imac (dual core, 7800gt equivilent gfx, 512gb hdd)

Preferred attributes: Needs to be fast, Good with multiple applications and be able to handle rendering well. Not needed for games, Needs a good ammount of space.
Ideally a 22" LCD monitor, mouse,keyboard (not top class ones)

Budget £400-£475

Kind of agree here, a graphics designer wants a good PC, if it can wait another month or so it might be worth seeing if you can increase the budget a bit (another £100 would help things quite a bit).
