Anyone taken a language A-level before?

Hi,

Has anyone here taken a language at A-level? I have been wondering how the speaking tests are. Do the people on the recording speak slowly, like they do at GCSE level?

Oh, my bad. I meant the listening examinations, sorry.

So, they allow you to listen to the recording as many times as you want? That's pretty cool.

The speakers are obviously native, but do they speak at a 'normal' tempo or do they speak a little more clearly/slower?
