Apologies if drivers aren't really discussed in this forum.

Has anyone tried the official 84.21 Forceware graphics drivers yet from nVidia? If so, what's your opinion on them and which graphics card are you using them with? I'd be particularly interested if anyone's tried them with EverQuest2 or Star Wars Galaxies. Finally, are these drivers compatible with RivaTuner 15.8?

Yeah I heard that. Also, I've read that FarCry's a bit more unstable due to these drivers. Anyone else tried them?

EDIT: Are you using RivaTuner with these drivers?
 
Using 84.21 official drivers with my rig with no probs. Seems stable enough and maybe a bit of a boost in some games. IQ seems a bit better in Quake 4 but that might just be me. Don't know about rivatuner as i use coolbits.
 
See, I've been looking up coolbits on Guru3D. It says there that it's not really compatible with Forceware drivers past 55.XX. Is that just an old version of coolbits I'm looking at or is it all a load of guff?
 
Rumor has it there will be a new set on Wed, that are optimized for Oblivion...84.25's I belive...

The 21's work just fine though.
 
This new forceare is fine except i cant overclock my card quite as much. I have a 7800gt with a zalman cooler.
With 81.98 i could do 474/1120, with 84.21 i can do 465/1110

Which doesnt actually bother me at all, just thought id mention it.
Also FEAR performance is slightly better, which is great as ive just gone from 1280x1024 to 1680x1050!
