Anyone use an O2 SIMplicity contract on an iPhone?

Might be buying my mate's old 3G as he's upgraded, my Voda contract is nearly up so I'm thinking of getting the £20 SIMplicity contract (600 minutes, 1200 texts with free unlimited web bolt on).

Anyone else on one of these? I phoned up o2 sales and they said that it's fine, apart from 'Visual Voicemail' is there anything else I lose?

Been using a Simplicity 20 tarrif on my iPhone 2G since April last year.

Lose the Visual Voicemail - but as I never use voicemail anyway... no big loss there!!

As others have said its fine. Other than the voice mail your good to go.

Does anyone know why you lose the voice mail, it seems rather stupid to me. I suspect o2 just disable it, to give the perception that those on the full iphone contracts are getting something better?

You dont loose voice mail, you loose Virtual Voice mail.. Not sure what this is, but I think you can a list of the voice mails on your handset, and can listen to them from there.. Bit pointless if you ask me, and not something I was I had. Voice mail works fine.

Thing is, unless you have already had the visual voice mail stuff or that's your reason for getting the iphone you simply wont know any better so losing it means nothing.

Sorry, ment "visual voice mail", but still, seems a shame to have feature disabled by o2 just becuase......
