Anyone wanna help me build a system :)

Hi - I basically bought a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2048MB to chuck in my current system - don't have the PSU or motherboard to use it (Should have read up on it properly - DOH!!!)

Anyway, as my current system is getting on a bit, I have now decided that the way ahead is just to build a brand new system around it - so was wondering if anyone has any advise on what processor / motherboard combo, PSU (1000W required for the GFX Card), HD's, memory and case you would go for if you had around another £800 - £1000 to play with?

I use the computer mostly for playing Starwars Galaxies (Yes I know its not everyone cuppa tea - but I like it ) and 3D Design (Lightwave).

Would appreciate any help or advice

CPU: Q6600 G0
RAM: at least 4Gb (as quick as posible)
HDD: 2x 1Tb Samsung F1
Case: Nice case from Lian Li or Silverstone (depend on your taste)
For cooling you still have loads money to go for water or stick with air.

Send the 4870X2 back, get yourself a single 4870 and a Corsair 620w or something in that range for power.

You're not going to need an X2 for Galaxies and you won't need a 1kw PSU for it anyway
