Free links from my new site. So I need it filling with some good sites.

Submit your site (no dodgy sites, nor no submission to top-level categories) .. find a category and hit "Add Site"

How does this work? ( Forgive my ignorance !!! ).

I have a couple of small business websites that I have done recently that may well benefit from this, if I am thinking along the right lines?.

same here please and what happens if what you want to add something that isnt listed in any category or is not suitable for any.

easy - there are no tricks - it's a directory where you can put a link to your site.

find a suitable category, hit "Add Site" .. fill in a few details about your site, don't forget to tick "regular link", and press submit.

add more than one if you want

the idea is that you get a free link

So I checked the option for "regular link and reciprocate".

Does that make any difference?.

nope --- no difference .. they're both free (there is scope in the system to charge for links - eek - but that's not what I want to offer people)

tbh choose "regular" and then it's one way

this directory is designed so that you get some link juice from my site, rather than the other way around.

just submit your site ... and I'll approve as long as it's not a dodgy site

Well its CAD/design orientated so I suppose something along that basis.
Maybe something like a sub heading under a specialist/professional services type title to allow for other companies with similar more business to business orientated services.
