Ghostboat
Jack Hardy is the sole survivor of a mysterious submarine disaster in World War II.

Now, in 1981, the ill-fated submarine Scorpion has resurfaced, miraculously intact. And Naval Intelligence need Hardy's expertise to retrace the course and mission that led to her original disappearance.

But what's waiting for them under the grey waters of the Baltic Sea turns out to be much worse than the Russian submarines they're expecting.

Before he knows it, Hardy is fighting for his life as the forgotten events of 1943 start to have deadly consequences for the modern-day crew of the sub.

Wherever Scorpion has been all this time, it's brought some very bad luck back with it...

My Mum and I were watching it. It is still quite confusing. There are things that have happened that don't make sense. Hopefully tomorrows episode will clear everything up.

Anyone care to enlighten me on wtf happened.....im sat here confused
Erm well you see the submarine well went down, right and er it kinda went bang and erm the Professor died as he should have done first time round and the 1981 Captain became the er 1943 Captain and er...OK. It didn't make sense to me.

And to think I missed Dalziel and Pascoe for this.

hmm, thought it was pretty rubbish really...didn't make sense at all.....like a weak episode of the Twilight Zone stretched out to 3 hours.

Maybe its supposed to be a bit like Final Destination. Because the Prof managed to live the first time round, the boat came back to claim him....or summat like that.

Ditto tbh, was it based on a real story or something?
Nah it was a book I think. I watched David Jason on Parky the other night and DJ said he saw the book under some others whilst waiting to film a scene of A Touch Of Frost. He liked the cover, nicked the book (Del Boy refererence?;)) and read the book, liked it and Ghost Boat ended up on our screens.
