Sure there was but i had trouble with it.
We need to get some of the programmers together and start our own OCUK ultima server, how the hours would fly
It never improved them unfortunatly, 80 percent of the players still use the 2D client because the 3D one is that bad :/
Ultima has to be the best evidence that gameplay is far superior to graphics!!
I think its an amazing game but i stopped playing before all the ruin stones and all the other magic rubbish came out. Ive been back a couple of times but cant get into it as its changed so much and no one has ever decided to bring a new manual out

nothin compared to WoW
IMO WOW is pants compared to Ultima, ive never heard anyone complain about Ultima the way people complain about WOW!!
It may be old but has fantastic gameplay and community, more importantly it doesnt get boring when you get to the higher ranks.

The screens actually look very nice whilst still. Would like to see what its like when things start to move. The current 3d client looks crapish whilst still but even worse when anything decides to move one even square. Mind you I not played Ultima in 5 years.
too little too late, I used to love UO and played it for 7 years, sold a few of my accounts on ebay, one reached over £1000 - crazy money wish my wow account could stretch to that!!!
still look at my old items and remember the good times! modern day games cannot come close to some of the PVP encounters I had in UO
one of my best times was at this castle IDOC
made well over a million gold from kills that day, was just south of brit moongate IIRC so the amount of people around it was insane

thats what Uo was all about. Can you still do faction battles in UO minax True Brits? all that jazz. I enjoyed that for a while but was on 56k and so hard to compete for real.
