Considering a EVO IV or V or poss even a Scuby, evo is preferred but Ive been doing some insurance quotes and am quite shocked £1500 seems average, im 33 and have 4 years NCB (previous was on company car) 3 points this year otherwise a clean licence for over 10 years. My 350z only cost me £430

Just wondering what sort of money you pay and whos good for such vehicles

30 5+NCB Low crime area. MY00 UK Turbo with mods declared - £550

P1 = £650-700

Most EVO quotes I get are close to £1000.

Its why I've chosen to get a Lancia Integrale - £350 and better power to weight than an Impreza. And no, I'm not getting into a reliability argument ;)

Lancia is a lot rarer, nice choice, get some pics up when you get it :)

hmmm, is that stating as garaged? first i had on road, then drive and then garage, garage and drive quotes were the same, £200 more for left on road

I've got 4 years no claims and live in london, the insurance on my p1 costs me £675 with all mods declared (thats a lot) and an agreed value of £16,000

If you've been driving a high performance vehicle (200bhp+) then Keith Michaels are good. They specialise in scoobs, but deal with other such cars as well. A-Plan are next best for me.

I will. Just waiting to see what my mortgage is going to do first LOL :)

Is that limited miles?

I got around that figure being in a very low crime area and more NCB. Good price.

If I set the Lancia on limited miles it drops way below £300 with agreed 10K from Lancia OC.

EDIT - as much as I love JDM stuff the insurance is just a rip. If I bottle it with the Lancia and go back to an Impreza (Personal choice) it will be limited miles 2nd car.

I have found exactly the same. I'm 27 with 8 yrs NCB low crime area.

A year or so ago I ran a few quotes through

200SX £500

Impreza £800

Cosworth £950

Delta £400

Really strange :/
