Anyone recently joined them anyway?

Had an interview and been offered a job just have to pass some security checks and they will call me to let me know a start date/induction thing.

Just been reading through my application profile on their site and there's a bit about further tests to do once you get there?
Sorting letters/parcels around 500 in 25 minutes? Along with some other bits.

Just wondering if anyone had any more information on this.

The job I applied for was Postman/Woman with occasional driving.

I did the online induction for my mate, it was basically a series of sorting exercises based on postcodes. Click the right option from 8 boxes, each with similar postcodes. It's basically an accuracy test that factors speed etc too.
Trust me, if you play video games you'll have no problem.
My mate however has rarely touched a computer/mouse so the test was a bit unfair for him to take, so I breezed it on his behalf :D

I also did the test for a friend, and echo the above.

I did the online thing already that is part of the application process, I have progressed past that had an interview, was put on a waiting list and last week offered a job.

Just waiting to hear back from them after my checks, just wondering what else there is test wise when I go there for the induction and training.

Hopefully that is it as far as test goes :s

I doubt you will have any other tests. Normally you will get a one day induction at your nearest mail centre. Your profile says you are in Swindon which has a big mail centre so it will probably be there. This will probably be a waste of time where they drone on about health and safety, diversity, bullying and harassment (lots of this in RM). The following day you will go to the delivery office where you will be working. You will probably be sent out on delivery with a postman for a couple of days who will show you the round which you will then stay on for a few weeks until you used to it. Or if you have a crap manager you may just be pointed in the right direction and told to get on with it. Good luck :)
