Right this has been happening since i got this card with my new system, i've done everything software based uninstall,DDU, reinstal, i have x570mb so i tried reverting the pci slot from gen 4 to gen 3 (which helped a little) i changed the ram timings (slight overclock) i can play for about 1 hour constant before the screen freezes then artifacts, i can still move the mouse and close down the game but everything i click on in windows artifacts until i reboot it.

New bios just come out, maybe try that?

Also do you need these chipset drivers from amd site or the ones at mb support site says? As i think ddu might remove chipset stuff as well as amd drivers. When using ddu do you use the latest or a one you dled awhile ago as windows changes stuff a lot so ddu needs to catch up and keep releasing new ones.

Also double check cable and try a different port on gpu or monitor or both, and see if refresh rate is set properly in windows. Oh and try removing the card and reseat it or try a different pcie slot?

Which drivers have you tried?

it was a new build pc, so once everything was built i proceeded to instal the latest drivers for everything, ive sent an RMA request in and awaiting reply,

sounds silly but do you use 2 separate pci express cables going in to the card ? separate at psu end too ? don't use splitters

That's how I understood it too. OP - is it stable if you remove the slight overclock? If it is, I can't see how an RMA would be accepted?

Because you can't adjust timings on a graphics card so he must mean the system RAM.

Also his wording suggests he did some of those things after having problems.

Would be bizarre to overclock the GPU, if he actually means the GDDR6, you are having problems with.
