Aorus Xtreme - Brand New Should It Be Making This Noise ?

    just got brand new aorus extreme z390
    and its making this sound , i have a feeling a £480 motherboard should not be making this sound
    any help appreciated as graphics doing similar and will post that later

    sysytem is
    I9 9900k - aorus xtreme z30 - 32 gb dominator - corsair axi 1600 psu - aorus gtx 2080ti waterforce

    well to eliminate the GFX card, remove it and run from the built in GFX only, see if that sound appears again, what cooler are you using on the CPU? AIO system or custom W/C or air?

    stock graphics and still have a noise, can you locate where the noise is from? does it come from CPU socket?

    No top left of the board where shield is covering

    sounds like some thing on the board then, best to RMA and get a replacement, you do have the 2 CPU power cables connected?

    from what i could see, there isn't a fan like the x399 xtreme version

    there is a Gigabyte/Aorus rep on here @GIGA-Man , but should be worth while raising RMA and should have the support from Gigabyte as well if going through reseller

    Reject the goods for refund within 14 days, for quickest solution and also to guarantee it won't be replaced with a B-Grade, given that you've only just paid for new. Buy another.

    That does not sound correct, so sorry for that. What Danny75 has recommended is well within your consumer writes, if for any reason you don't do this let me know ASAP and I will get it sorted for you ASAP.
