Air update would be nice, give it the decent touchpad and a speed bump and id almost trade in my mbp for one...

Love the idea of osx lion too! Not sure what big features to expect other than some nice opengl drivers (and a surprise civ5 on mac release)

I'd prefer an i3 13" MPB myself, 32nm, but i5 would be good also, 32nm should give even better battery life...

What's sandy bridge? I've been toying with the idea of replacing my Tiger mbp but couldn't quite justify it yet, especially since I put snow leopard on it. If some major developments are due soon, that might give me the reason i need!

Q2-Q3 2011 is my guess on Mobile Sandy Bridge.

Technically it isn't! Just because the CPU presents more cores to the OS so that it can do some of the thread shuffling itself doesn't mean anything other than that it is a dual core CPU with some fancy logic stuck on the front of the path into its two execution cores.

I can only see them showing off a new MBA, and update the MacBooks. It'll be interesting to see what new features will be in 10.7 (thats if they show it off).

i3/i5 in the 13" MacBook Pro (and then Mac Mini) would be nice, but I don't see it happening.
