Apple Mac? Whats the best

Was looking on a second hand place today (cant say the name) and i wanted to know for £300 what sort of mac can i get? after 1 with a monitor? i know its not a lot but i jsut want to mess about on them cus as i do pc repair i would like to do Apple repairs aswell.

For £300 you can't get one with a monitor, you could get a Mac Mini and then hook it up to a spare monitor you might have lying around.

yeah was looking at a mac mini they any good, and what do i need to watch out for on the second hand site

, for example, with a system that has windows on it they say pre installed windows and it comes with no coa and sys preped do i need to watch out for anything

some of the iMac G3s (the one that looks like an angle poise lamp), or a PowerMac G3 go for the price you are discussing.

Powermac would be easiest to mess with and upgrade. The iMacs are buggers to work with - so it might even be better from that point of view.
