To be honest I hated the rumoured design but I could easily make my peace with it if iOS6 actually brought something fresh. 5 years is a long time now. Seeing as we are rushing through it (probably because they are announcing other cool stuff) Its says to me its been once again ignored.

Your house must be made of odd shaped bricks if you think the SGS3 looks like one... iPhone 4/S 5 is far more brick like.

Also for the people hating, please list half a dozen things/features that are 'omg wow' in terms of realistic stuff a smartphone unveiled in mid 2012 could have? And don't say widgets lol.

Some huge step in battery technology? (I don't know what is realistically achievable)

I was expecting a little more from Apple to be honest. Maybe a better screen, or faster CPU. Camera upgrades sound good and LTE is a bonus for some but generally I'm unimpressed.

Huh? Contradictions. Your whinging people are whinging because all the info has been leaked. But not everyone has followed the leaks so this is new stuff to 'some' of us and fairly underwhelming at that.

I had no idea what it would have so had no expectations as I haven't been paying any attention until now.

The stuff I'm see'ing isn't particularly compelling me to think wow I need to upgrade my 2 year old iPhone for this.

I really have never understood people who said this. I've got very small hands, and I can easily work the GS3 with one hand. Are you sure you're not thinking of the note, or maybe the 7" tablets?

What's that blogger on about all the adapters he will have to buy? Why would you need more than 1 per phone

Presumably because you don't really want to have to carry the adapter around with you. Personally I have a connector on my car stereo and a dock in my house.

Further to that, he might have been hinting that some devices will require their own adapters just to make it fit the device. For example they already showed the B&W Zeppelin, which is something I own. With the adapter, it would massively stick out and be unsupported.
