Hello Fellow Apple Fans

Im going to buy and ATV unit but i need a few questions answering first, so if you could possibly help me out it would be very much appreciated.

questions are

1. i just connect ATV to a n ethernet cable, then plug that into a space ethernet socket on my router, and this will not interfere with my internet for my computer ?

2. what are you able to do with your iphone 4 over appletv ?

1. Yes, just connect it to a spare port on your router for a wired connection rather than wi-fi. It will have no effect on your internet connectivity elsewhere in the house.

2. You can stream music, photo's and video's directly from your iPhone4 via 'airplay'. This in effect turns your iPhone/iPad into a mini jukebox without having to leave your pc/mac switched on to stream content. You can also use the remote app instead of the bundled alu remote if you wish also.

Theres also been rumour/speculation about the integration of some form of gaming format via Apple TV which would no doubt use an iOS device as some form of control. This is just rumour though, not fact.

so i dont have to use ethernet, i can just use it via wifi yes ?

No you don't, although I presumed you knew this from the wording of your question. If your router sits next to your apple tv though there is no reason why you would not want to wire the connection IMO.
