At first the shower wouldn't give any water/just minor dripping, but now after trying to trouble shoot, I've got it all working, but working too well as the cold won't shut off.

The shower it switched off, the smart valve restarted, even unplugged and checked the filter which was totally clean, but nothing we do will get the device to close the cold valve.

Any ideas as to what we can try? The only way to stop it now is to turn the cold pipe to off but not ideal as it's in the loft.

Mine I think has done this once or twice when I've been trying to work around some apparent overheating issue. To resolve it I killed it at the circuit breaker, then flipped it back on at the circuit breaker, then tried turning it on and off on the unit.

Make sense? After that, I know I'll eventually need to call someone for my overheating issue!

If it's any help, they come with a 5 year warranty. A quick Google suggests there are no serviceable parts inside the unit, although it does look like there are two spring loaded seals that benefit from a clean and grease.
Ours is 2 years old, no issues yet.
