Ok I'd just like to know how they can do this? Are they losing money in the hopes of retaining customers?

I had Aquiss before they used LLU and it had a monthly download cap, fair enough it was 300GB off-peak but it was still a cap. They had good customer service and a one month contract basis was perfect for Uni.

So now its uncapped... is LLU really that much cheaper?!

If they are using Murphx for wholesale services, they (Murphx) are running free migration onto Tiscali LLU and C&W LLU until the end of December. So it could well be Aquiss are just passing on the offer rather than loss leading.

Yea its not exactly cheap at all. O2/Be* are much much cheaper for the same, if not better product.

I think Titan, ADSL24 and vivaciti have offers for free activations but it looks like Aquiss still has the charge but they are simply using that activation charge to fund the 2 months free.

Price is about average for an "unlimited" package... and IMO <£30/m is dirt cheap for internet.

I doubt its truly unlimited tho in every aspect - haven't looked into the details but I bet it has a fair useage policy that kicks in at somewhere around 300gig after which your speeds will be slowed to a crawl.
