One thing I've always wanted to own since I was about six or seven years old is some arcade machines. Sometimes you see older ones for less than £200 which is affordable. If I did buy one how would I get something that darn heavy up three flights of stairs into my apartment? Can parts be taken out like the screen and so on to make them lighter?

I don't know if there's small building that can be rented for cheap where I can have my own person 80s and 90s arcade as I here lock-ups don't have power going to them.

My mate has a cab that went up 3 flights of stairs, just took 3 bodies to lift it.

I shouldn't think it would be too much of a problem to get up the stairs as long as they're not especially narrow as long as you have 2 or 3 people for the job.

Perhaps this post should also go in the sports arena thread, that way you can say how heavy it is and how many times it can be deadlifted! :D

Seriously though, get a few mates around and if you're that desperate for one you'll work out a way of getting it up there.

This.

Man up and get the job done. I helped a mate move an old Mortal Kombat at Fruit machine up to his 3rd floor flat. Not that hard once you get on with it.

I think they vary in weight, though.

I had an Outrun machine for a while, and me and my Dad nearly killed ourselves just getting it up one short flight.

Admittedly, we're only small fellas, but my Dad's stronger than he looks. Me, on the other hand...

Classic 80s and 90s games such as Outrun, Chase HQ. Operation Wolf (Gotta love the Uzi.) Double Dragon, The Simpson's, Kung Fu Master etc. I don't even know if I'll even be able to get any of them but that's a few games I remember enjoying.
